Work in Glen Lake Estates Neighborhood Continues

Work Completed last week:
Suburban Concrete (Concrete Improvements):
·         Due to the amount of rain received this past week, Suburban Concrete was not able to begin work on Covert Road or Huber Lane.  The concrete work on these 2 streets will take approximately 2 weeks to complete, so it has been decided to postpone this work until after the July 4th weekend.
Arrow Road (Roadway Improvements):
·         Public Library parking lot south of Glenview Road:
o   Installed new asphalt surface layer
o   Completed pavement marking
·         Glenlake Estates Neighborhood
o   Milled existing asphalt pavement
o   Performed asphalt patching of driveways where concrete curb & gutter or sidewalk repairs were made.
·         Partial pavement removal and asphalt paving as part of the MARS program along:
o   Strawberry Lane:  between Maple Leaf Drive and Winnetka Road
o   Indian Ridge Court: Indian Ridge Drive to North cul-de-sac
o   Maple Leaf Drive: between Pfingsten Road and Strawberry Lane

 Anticipated work next week includes:
Suburban Concrete (Concrete Improvements):
·         AFTER THE JULY 4TH WEEKEND, begin concrete curb & gutter and sidewalk replacements along:
o   Covert Road from Washington Road to Michael Manor
o   Huber Lane from Central Road to northerly cul-de-sac.
·         Residents will be notified prior to concrete work on your street. Details will be given regarding timing of the construction and access restrictions to your driveways.
Arrow Road (Roadway Improvements):
·         Glenlake Estates Neighborhood 
o   Installing new asphalt surface layer on July 2nd and July 3rd, weather permitting.
o   Continue asphalt patching of driveways where concrete curb & gutter or sidewalk repairs were made. 

As you can notice, the primary objective next week is to complete the work that has been started prior to the July 4th Holiday. Following the holiday weekend, construction along other streets will begin.
